  9. WHAT IS FILE SHREDDER? 
  10.  
  11.    File Shredder can split a large file into smaller pieces. You 
  12.    can later combine those small files to restore the original. 
  13.    You can combine them in any PCs (even in DOS machines) without 
  14.    installing any additional software.

  17. WHAT TO DO TO SHRED A FILE? 
  18.  
  19.    1. SELECT TARGET FILE. You first select a file to shred. Click 
  20.       [Browse] button, or drag & drop the target file onto File 
  21.       Shredder window. 
  22.  
  23.    2. SELECT TARGET DIRECTORY. You then pick the directory where 
  24.       smaller files (shredded files) are to be stored. Click 
  25.       [Browse] button to select the target directory. 
  26.  
  27.    3. CHOOSE SHREDDING OPTION. Choose how you want to split the 
  28.       target file. You have the following three options: 
  29.  
  30.       a) SHRED INTO ... PIECES. You can specify the number of 
  31.          smaller files you want to create. For example, if your 
  32.          target file is 1000KB and if you shred it into five pieces, 
  33.          then you'll get five files each with 200KB in size.

  35.       b) SHRED INTO PIECES OF ... KB. You can specify the file size
  36.          (in KB) of each smaller file. For example, if your target 
  37.          file is 1000KB and if you specify that you want to shred it 
  38.          into pieces of 200KB, then you will get five 200KB-files.

  40.       c) SHRED TO FILL THE ENTIRE DISKS. You can use this option if 
  41.          you want to shred a large file into multiple removable 
  42.          media (such as floppy disks). This option shreds the target 
  43.          file into multiple disks in the way that the disks will 
  44.          be full after shredding, regardless of their original free 
  45.          disk space. This allows maximum use of removable media.
